Each 10 foot section of Square D's AP304G bus duct has ten plug-in ports, five each side, to accept PQ bus plugs.
This electrical busway is a great option for a manufacturer upgrading, expanding or replacing who need 400 amps available.
Square D AP304G I-Line series Bus Duct is a safe investment.
- Square D's I-Line series busway is the current offering by Schneider Electric.
- I-Line series bus duct and bus plugs are available from Square D distributors and available on the secondary market.
- Rated for 600 volts maximum, this bus duct can be powered with 240, 480, or 600 volts.
- Each 10 foot section of busway has five "ports" on each side for a bus plug, providing flexibility. If a machine is added in the future all that is needed is a bus plug to access power from the bus duct.
Reconditioned by Legacy
Reconditioned bus duct purchased from Legacy Industrial Electric comes ready for installation. Each section ships with all the connection hardware (joint pack, inspection covers, and hardware). We supply two HP3F hangers with each 10 foot section of busway.
Each section and component is inspected during reconditioning, and tested before it ships.
We back up our work with a one year replacement warranty.

A tap box is normally the first component of an electrical bus duct run to feed power from the distribution into the busway. The AP304G busway has three tap box options:
End Cap
- An end closure, or end cap, completes the bus duct run, catalog number ACP3EC.
Bus Plugs
Bus plugs plug into the busway's plug-in ports to draw power while providing On-Off and over-current protection. The I-Line series has two over-current protection options for the bus plugs, fusible and circuit breaker.
The fusible PQ style bus plugs are the more common option.

The AP304G ships on a 12 foot skid by common carrier. To unload the busway a forklift is required. A loading dock is helpful. We can add the shipping charge to the quote.
Our standard lead time on a bus duct system over 100 feet is 10 working days. If a busway system requires customized components, or we need to acquire items, it may take longer.
Yes, if you have existing AP304G.
Yes. But... To run the bus duct vertically up a building requires vertical spring hangers to distribute the weight at each floor. Additionally, Square D makes a PS 200 amp bus plug for vertical applications. The standard PQ 200 amp bus plug cannot be used.
