Legacy Returns and Refunds

At Legacy Industrial Electric, we stand by our work. Any standard item may be returned for a full refund of the item price within 60 days as long as it has not been energized. Please note, all components (kits, joint packs, hangers, fuses, etc.) must be returned in order to receive a refund. 

Items that appear in the manufacturer's catalog and require no additional work beyond Legacy's normal reconditioning process are considered "standard". 

Non-standard items are not returnable and are not eligible for a refund. Non-standard items include custom builds, repairs, catalog items involving work beyond our normal reconditioning process (e.g., a 10 foot section of duct cut down to an 8 foot section), and items we sourced specifically for you.


If you need to return an item due to our mistake (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we also pay the return shipping costs.


You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
