Siemens UV Bus Plugs

Reconditioned UV bus plugs for Siemens (ITE and Gould) XL-U plug-in bus duct. 

The UV bus plugs for the XL-U busway were manufactured originally by ITE, then by Gould, and finally Siemens. The UV plugs and the XL-U busway are compatible, irrespective of manufacturer. A UV bus plug manufactured by ITE will plug onto XL-U bus duct manufactured by Siemens or Gould, and vice-versa.

The UV bus plug commonly uses fuses for the over-current protection. The table below lists the catalog number for the fusible UV bus plugs. The UV bus plugs were manufactured with circuit breakers as the over-current protection instead of fuses. Please contact us for available units.

All of our reconditioned bus plugs ship with the ground tab and lug installed. All of the UV bus duct has a slot to accept the ground, even if the busway does not have a dedicated ground bar in the bus duct.
