Square D Plug In Tap Box for the I-Line series bus duct. 600 volt, 3 wire, ground. 1000 to 1600 amps for applications using copper busbar, or 800 to 1600 amps for applications using aluminum busbar. Catalog # PTB316G.

This tap box plugs into the busway in one of the bus plug plug-in ports. It is a convenient option because power can be supplied to the busway through any of the plug-in ports. The tap box can be used with aluminum or copper busway. 

Mounting the tap box on the bus duct requires a mounting rack that ships with the tap box. 

When using a plug-in tap box, the busway run will require two end caps to seal the run.
