A customer recently saved themselves a headache by taking the time to identify the correct bus plug needed for their Westinghouse busway system. Was it a TAP or ITAP bus plug that was needed?
It is not uncommon for a manufacturer or contractor to order one bus plug only to find that they needed the other series of bus plug for the bus duct.
The problem occurs because of the similar catalog numbers, and that the TAP and ITAP bus plugs, while looking similar are not interchangeable.
