Siemens CTB308 Center Tap Box, Copper, 800 amp, 3 wire for Bulldog series

Reconditioned Siemens CTB308 Center Tap Box for BD Series Bus Duct, 800 Amp, 3-wire, plug in, 10 ft section.

This center tap box is a convenient way to supply power to the middle of a busway run. It takes the place of the standard end cable tap box, ETB308.

The tap box is a 10 foot straight length with an enclosure in the center to supply incoming power. It has eight plug-ins for BOS-style bus plugs. It replaces a standard section 10 foot section of BDP308 bus duct.

Notes:
• The above images show the tap box with the enclosure on the top, but it comes out from the side, where the plug-ins for the bus plugs are, not the top or bottom.
• If the tap box is being used for a new run, then two end caps, ECP10, are needed to close the busway run.

The tap box busbar material is copper and rated for indoor use only.

The CTB308 tap box has (3) 600MCM mechanical lugs for incoming power.

Each CTB308 Tap Box includes:
• (2) Hangers (BDH10)
• (2) Inspection Covers with mounting hardware
• Connection Hardware

• The enclosure is 20 inches high (away from the busway).
