Summary
We currently have up to 300 feet of reconditioned, Square D, CPHR506G bus duct. Each section of the bus duct includes two hangers, inspection covers, and joint pack. Tap boxes to feed electrical power, end caps to close the busway run, and bus plugs are available.
The busway is reconditioned and tested prior to shipping, and includes a one year replacement warranty against failure with correct installation and normal usage conditions.
Over-sized Copper Bus Bar
This I-Line bus duct is over-sized copper bus bar, denoted in the catalog number with an "R". 600 amp copper bus duct is normally 2 inches width. The bus bar for this CPHR506G is 3 inches in width, which is normally found in 800 amp copper busway. Additionally, this bus duct is rated for high interrupting, denoted by the "H" in the catalog number.
The CPHR506G busway has an integral ground for system grounding. PQ bus plugs with a ground tab connect with the bus duct's ground. A ground lug inside the PQ bus plug provides ground wire connection.
The over-sized copper bus bar, the high interrupting, and the grounding make this busway an excellent choice for a demanding facility. An example might be a manufacturer with a number of welders drawing heavy on the duct.
Important Note
The CPHR506G busway will NOT match up to existing Square D CP506G I-Line bus duct. The housing dimensions are larger than the standard CP506G busway.
